State Rep. Rick Saccone (R-PA) is the Republican nominee in the special election for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 18th district. He’s a constitutional conservative who will fight to cut spending, repeal Obamacare, and strengthen our national security.
Saccone is a husband and father, a former Air Force officer, an expert in counter-terrorism who served his country in North Korea and Iraq, and an experienced public servant.
Now in his fourth term in the State House, Saccone has gained recognition for winning passage of the Castle Doctrine, which permits law-abiding homeowners to defend themselves against intruders, and stronger laws to catch and prosecute Internet child sex predators.
“I am not a career politician and I have no interest in climbing political ladders,” Saccone said. “I am running for Congress because I believe that I have something unique to offer to the 18th District and to our country in these crucial times. I am not one to sit back and just hope that someone else will fix the problem.”
